Social Pillow
Digital Materials and Interactive Artefacts, IT University of Copenhagen, 2017. A connected social vibrating alarm in the form of a pillow. Initiated by magnet contact. Vibration stopped by other pillow also being placed on magnet urging you to also wake up. Once taken off magnet a light blinks in the other pillow indicating bedtime. Built using Tessel 2, pillows, vibrators, switch, a light. Coded with javascript. Brief was to connect everyday objects.
